Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University invites applications for Director, Office of Educational Assessment and Program Effectiveness for oversight and coordination of the School of Medicine's assessment programs. Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean for Education the incumbent will be responsible for: assessing the quality and effectiveness of the overall educational program and its components, faculty/resident teaching, and student performance. In addition, the Director, Office of Educational Assessment and Program Effectiveness has the primary responsibility for curriculum mapping. About the School of Medicine: The Frank H. Responsibilities: Evaluation of the Educational Program Conceptualize and implement qualitative and quantitative approaches for the evaluation of the educational program and its components Develop processes for reviewing the curriculum (including integration of years and phases of curriculum) and its components, such as courses and clerkships Ensure quality of assessments throughout the educational process Develop and track student outcomes measures Analyze and report data to appropriate groups Oversee access to institutional data repository Serve as primary contact with the USMLE and NBME Chair the Curriculum Evaluation Committee Continuous Quality Improvement Collaboratively develop an LCME-compliant CQI system for LCME educational standards and elements, including data collection, data analysis and reporting, tracking of improvement efforts and their outcomes, and ensuring subsequent review and action by responsible groups Link information from student, course/clerkship and program evaluation and assessment data with quality improvement and faculty development initiatives Assist in maintaining institutional awareness of and communication of current LCME expectations for the educational program Curriculum Management Processes Oversee curriculum management processes and data analysis (including reporting) Assist in selection of software platforms related to medical education Faculty Resource and Development Serve as a resource to the Senior Associate Dean for Education, Associate Dean for Faculty Development, and Council on Curriculum Oversight Provide assistance to colleagues regarding instructional design, teaching, assessment, and scholarship Operational Responsibilities Manage Office of Educational Assessment and Program Effectivene
