Nursing Director - System Wide Float Pool Program-17004672
The Director of Talent Share Float Pool will provide oversight to the staffing, scheduling and float pool departments including short and long term planning, program and associate development, and resource and budget management. This position will partner with senior leadership to implement related plans and initiatives and bring strategic focus and understanding of how they are tied to business goals and objectives. Provides key support to nursing and ancillary departments and collaborates to meet the staffing demands.
Directs and oversees management of leadership teams for staffing, scheduling, and float pool associates. Inspires managers and staff to high standards of care while maintaining exceptional staffing and productivity metrics.
Assists senior leadership with analysis and planning for new service line opportunities and identification of new markets that are consistent with the mission, vision and strategic goals for the System.
Develops and maintain collaborative relationships with leaders at the care sites and system services.
Ensures all programs are appropriately defined, planned and delivered to meet business objectives.
Leads cross-functional teams to ensure management and delivery of projects and programs on time, within budget and within quality standards.
Implements program management practices and measures results through use of management reports, dashboards and metrics as appropriate.
Reviews service lines on a frequent basis, accesses risks and recommends contingency plans and strategies to mitigate any identified risks.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (B.S.N.) required.
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred, or the equivalent experience, preferred.
Current BLS certification.
Five years working as a nursing manager in a hospital setting.
Management experience with a regional float pool, preferred.
