Salary Range: Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
Job Summary: The Associate Director of Cox BBA Admissions reports to the Associate Dean of BBA Programs and leads the recruitment, retention and scholarship efforts for all BBA programs.
Recruit prospective students to the Cox BBA Program. Assist with overall recruitment strategy and retention of BBA scholars and Business Direct Students. Develop recruitment relationships with prospective students, using frequent communication, social media, etc. Substantial travel for on and off campus recruitment activities.
Key member in the selection of BBA Scholars and Business Direct students to the Cox BBA Program. This includes the actual selection of the students which requires a strong knowledge of both the Cox School's enrollment goals, and university enrollment management goals.
Manage the awarding and maintenance of the Cox BBA Scholarship program. This includes the award selection, fund management, and scholarship renewals.
Project manage and develop the Cox communication continuum with creation of new prospective communication and retention programs. This includes programming, print, on-line, and in-person frequent communication efforts.
Daily operations of the BBA Admission Office. This includes answering incoming phone calls, coordinating campus visitations, maintaining financial records for the office, and coordination of mailings.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred.
A minimum of three years professional work experience in admissions or student services is required.
Work experience in higher education is strongly preferred.

Candidate must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to present information effectively to individuals and groups.
Candidate must have a strong customer service orientation with the ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Candidate must possess strong leadership skills and proficiency in relationship building.
Candidate must demonstrate strong organizational, project planning and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with a strong focus on attention to detail.
Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team is essential.
Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and database management skills. PeopleSoft software experience is preferred.
Candidate must have a valid driver license with a good driving record; must be insurable.
Position requires significant and frequent travel for admission and recruiting events, occasionally on nights and weekends.
