The Research Program Assistant is responsible for organizing and completing a variety of school-based assessments with students, teachers, and parents enrolled in NIH/IES research projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Collecting data using computerized and paper-pencil interviewing materials designed to assess a broad range of tailored and comprehensive cognitive scores and classroom behaviors.
*Conducting cognitive/achievement assessments in schools with identified students enrolled in the trial.
*Conducting classroom observations and working closely with teachers and school administrators around scheduling the observations.
*Verifying and logging confidential data into a centralized database.
*Reviewing data for accuracy and completeness and generating access reports.
B.A./B.S. in Psychology, Mental Health, Social Work, Public Health, or related field and must be able to travel in and around schools in Baltimore City, Baltimore County & Prince Georges County or other participating school systems as needed.
Experience working with confidential data & conducting student assessments within a school setting.
