Under the direction of the enterprise Director, Project Management, the Project Coordinator supports various aspects of the Project Management Office’s (PMO) department operations across MSK.
Assist with coordinating, organizing, tracking, and compiling information from multiple sources, as needed.
Complete daily office tasks and serve as a key liaison to numerous MSK departments.
Extremely organized and possesses a strong attention to detail.
Able to maintain project deliverable lists, project plans for departmental projects, and prioritize their efforts to ensure departmental objectives are met.
Highly articulate and professional - verbal and written communications skills for executive level communications.
An agile and flexible self starter with the ability to handle a wide range of projects supporting multiple individuals concurrently in a fast paced environment.
Resourceful and can independently solve problems with limited assistance.
Bachelor's degree required with at least 2 years of experience in executive level administration; and/or leading projects/teams; experience working on tasks individually and in teams.
4-7 years of experience preferred.
Strong Excel/Power Point Skills including the ability to create graphically intensive presentations with smart art, animation, graphs/charts, and embedded excel tables.
SharePoint administration skills required in order to maintain the PMO sharepoint site and manage access for users to project SharePoint sites.
Knowledge of Microsoft Project preferred, but not required. Willingness to take course within one year of accepting role.
Experience working within a Project Management Office or project work for event planning or other detailed planning function is highly preferred.
