Advertised Summary Job Description: Web Services at Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) is a growing and talented group of individuals who focus on bringing innovative approaches to Web and application development to the CUMC community. We are searching for a Web producer who thrives in a team-based environment, can multitask, and is comfortable with direct client interaction.
Reporting to the Director of Product and Content, the Web Producer's position has five main areas of focus (with other responsibilities as needed): -working with team members to manage and implement content for new sites; coordinating with the project manager and technical team during site development and assisting with project coordination as needed - maintaining existing sites; manage process for content reviews and audits with team; ensure all pages are reviewed on schedule and produce and maintain accurate reports and logs of upcoming and historic changes - implement, track, and decipher web analytics - develop requirements for feature enhancements and user experience improvements - assist with the production of CMS training curriculum and materials
The Web Producer will work with team members, both during site building to receive and track content to receive and track content assets during site development and with ongoing site maintenance. To facilitate workflow and team efficiency, the Web Producer will take the lead on user experience enhancements and developing website launch and maintenance processes for content that will be adopted by Web services.
