The Educational Administration and School Counseling/Psychology Department at National University seeks faculty enthusiastic about an opportunity to shape the future of Applied Behavior Analysis program. The Sanford College of Education is seeking individuals who a) aspire to shape higher education and P-12 schools for years to come, b) inform their work through their research agenda, c) will continue to grow as exemplary instructors by using up-to-date technology, and d) collaborate with both internal and external constituencies.
The individual selected to fill this position will be expected to (1) assume responsibility for master’s students in Applied Behavior Analysis programs, (2) advise and mentor master's students of diverse cultures and backgrounds; (3) engage in appropriate service activities at the department, school, and/or university level; (4) establish and maintain relationships with department faculty, administrators, and staff in academic centers throughout California; (5) assume leadership responsibilities where needed including course leadership and/or program leadership, and (6) establish and maintain strong professional relationships with school districts in the greater San Diego region.
An earned doctorate from a nationally recognized and accredited university in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis, or related discipline, with board Certification (BCBA). ABDs will be considered.
Excellence in teaching. An exemplary record of teaching at the graduate level is preferred.
An established or emerging line of applied research (including presentations at state and national conferences).
A record of collaboration with school districts and community partners.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team.
