Job Summary: The Compensation Analyst - International supports the implementation and administration of the organization's international and national compensation programs, including taxation issues, salary surveys, harmonization of banding and compensation practices and procedures across country program offices, and capacity building.
Research, gather, and analyze market data for determining appropriate salary levels to maintain or adjust salary structures.
Evaluate and place field-based national jobs into grade/pay structure
Review to determine job experience and education minimum standards.
Maintain and manage job documentation, job descriptions, databases and tables related to job codes, and job families for national country program staff.
Provide support to HR department and managers concerning interpretation and implementation of compensation practices and guidelines.
Assist in the execution and administration and provide analytical support for a variety of international compensation allowances, policies, and programs.
Assist 60+ country programs with analysis tools, local pay surveys and development and delivery of communications on CRS' salary structure to CRS Managers and employees, including guidelines, on-line webinars, workshops, trainings and other communication vehicles as appropriate.
Work as part of the global compensation team to ensure consistent application of compensation policy and practice across the organization.

Key Working Relationships: Internal: HR Directors and Managers, Country and Regional Leadership, and National Staff. External: Compensation Specialists within International NGOs professional groups. Vendors
Required/Desired Foreign Language: English required, French, Spanish or Arabic a plus
Travel Required: infrequent travel for field meetings and trainings (approx. 10%)

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required.
CEBs or CCP/GRP designation preferred.
Five years of international and domestic compensation/benefits experience: job evaluation; data acquisition and analysis; salary survey completion and analysis; job description writing; and policy interpretation.
Working knowledge of statistical methods, data analysis and presentation, and creative problem solving.
Skills and Knowledge
Knowledge of HR principles and practices.
Demonstrated knowledge of international compensation principles and best practices.
Ablity to handle superior level of confidentiality concerning employee information.
Ability to use software and hardware effectively, including MS Office, Visio, and Access.
High-level proficiency in Excel.
Excellent time management, interpersonal, communication, presentation, organization, decision-making, and planning skills.
