In this challenging role, you will support the Behavioral and Social Sciences Department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following:
Teach Sociology courses
Utilize teaching techniques that foster student understanding
Evaluate student work and submit grades in a timely manner
Maintain course-related records
Maintain scheduled office hours and meet with students as needed
Attend professional development workshops as requested
Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in Sociology or Master’s degree in a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in Sociology.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS M.A., M.S., or Ph.D. in Sociology and previous teaching experience.
