Global Markets Global Markets combines the sales, trading and structuring of a wide range of financial markets products.
This incorporates Debt Trading, including FX, Rates, Credit, Structured Finance and Emerging Markets; Equities and equity-linked products; Exchange-traded and over-the-counter derivatives and Money Market and securitised instruments.
Coverage of institutional clients is provided by the Institutional Client Group, while Research provides analysis of markets, products and trading strategies for clients.
The Global Tactical Sales & Client Strategy Team provides senior Equity Sales management with the information & recommendations necessary to ensure that we are maximising revenue collection and allocating scarce resources optimally across our Institutional Client base.
Key to achieving this is the effective and consistent use of data to build the 'story' of our clients, both on a by-account basis and in assessing relative attractiveness. The team necessarily sits at a nexus of data sources and is expected to not only navigate them but to draw meaning and articulate salient points to Sales Account Managers and Equity Sales management.
Examples of such sources include:
Revenues: how we are currently being paid and how we have been paid historically.
Broker votes: how the client rates our services compared to the other brokers they use.
Service consumption: how much of our Equity Research, Corporate Access, Sales & Execution product the client is utilising.
Client wallet: how much the client pays across the brokers they use and where Deutsche Bank fits into that picture.
The newly expanded team is looking for individuals to roll out the best-in-class processes from the APAC region to the US & Europe, specifically:
Working with the current APAC team to learn, implement and articulate processes to their respective regions.
Working with Equity Sales management in the US & Europe, bringing the regional requirements to the global forum whilst retaining consistency.
Coordinating with key touch points in the US & Europe for input, feedback & follow-up eg. around Account Reviews & Priority Account determination.
Contributing new ideas to further develop and improve the models & processes used across the global team.
This is an opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team facing numerous challenges & demands but equally providing incredible insight into the Equities client base globally and a chance to work with senior Equity Sales management in helping set the bank's direction.
