Currently ACR seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Quality Management Project Specialist to join the Quality and Safety Department located in Reston, VA. Candidates with the experience working at a non-profit medical or specialty society (preferably in the area of quality, safety or policy) are highly encouraged to apply. Working knowledge of quality measurement, physician performance and quality improvement programs and health policy are preferred. The specialist will assist with ACR’s quality improvement initiatives and serves a resource for ACR members regarding issues of quality measurement and use clinical data registries to meet federal quality reporting requirement . In addition, this position will provide analytical and administrative support to the Administrator and Director of Quality and Safety.
The Quality Management Project Specialist's job duties would include:
- Executes department project activities related to quality measure development and implementation - Liaisons internally and externally in support of advancing the radiology quality measurement portfolio - Prepares reports, writes articles, and other documents to educate members on changes in quality measure and performance improvement programs - Responds to member/customer/staff inquiries on quality measure activities and programs - Develops and implements programs/projects based on priorities identified by staff and leadership
The successful candidate will have:
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Policy, Business • 4+ years project management and administration experience • Non-profit medical or specialty society (preferably in the area of quality, safety or policy) experience is highly desired • Familiarity with Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services Quality Payment Program (CMS) highly desirable. •Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task •Strong organizational skills •Excellent verbal and written communication skills •Advanced Microsoft Office skills
