Five ambulatory oncology infusion rooms located in the Portland metro area. Chair/bed number range from 10-15 depending on site. Provide care to both Oncology and non-Oncology patients. Open 7 days a week including holidays and weekends.
The OHSU registered nurse (RN) provides compassionate, evidence-based, and efficient care to individuals, families, communities and patient populations. The RNs care delivery is consistent with the Oregon Nurse Practice Act, the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, and the ANA Code of Ethics and meets the standards/expectations of a Professional Practice Model.. A valid, unencumbered Oregon RN license
External Candidate: BSN
2 years of Oncology experience
Current BLS certification
Must be comfortable administering Chemotherapy
Must be familiar with ONS chemo/bio recommendations for handling and administration
Must be able to deal with competing needs and priorities of internal and external customers
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
