The Education Department offers a doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) program for students who have exemplary academic preparation as well as experience working in educational settings. We offer a master's level/teaching credential (MA/C) teacher-preparation program. We also have two vibrant undergraduate Education minor tracks that serve more than 300 undergraduates each year.
Basic knowledge of advising and counseling techniques.
Knowledge of departmental/school/college courses and majors.
Knowledge of department/school/college policies, procedures, and requirements.
Skills in judgment and decision-making, problem solving.
Abilities in problem identification, reasoning, ability to develop original idea to solve problems.
