The New Student Processing Team, Application Processor is responsible for interdependently facilitating the application process for freshmen and transfer students. Responsibilities include ensuring that all information is received, complete, and correct for each undergraduate application; contacting students, parents, high schools, and other parties to obtain the additional information; and assisting applicants by determining their needs and providing the appropriate information and assistance; and handling/processing funds applicable to the admissions process.
- Demonstrated proficiency with data entry using word-processing and database software such as Microsoft Office. - General office administrative skills such as telephone skills, mass mailings, tracking information, and filing. - Ability to interpret and effectively explain procedures, make sound decisions, and maintain composure. - Strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. - Must be able to safely move and handle up to 40 lbs independently. It is critical for the person in this position to be dependable, approachable, and honest, learns from experiences, and presents a professional image in representing the university to parents and prospective students.
- Experience assisting students and families with enrollment or curriculum information. - Familiarity with student enrollment systems and university requirements. - Demonstrated proficiency with Banner.
