As the Associate Director, Actuarial Consulting, you will lead mathematical analyses and actuarial modeling that provides management with statistical findings and conclusions. The analyses will impact foundational pricing and risk assumptions for a variety of internal and external Client groups. Qualified candidates should be intellectually curious, self-motivated, and able and willing to direct projects and see them through to completion. Within the Consulting job family, this function uses actuarial methodology, financial and statistical modeling to provide strategic and analytical consulting services to internal and external clients. Primary Responsibilities: Directing the client relationship on all actuarial and plan technical mattersAnalyzing and investigating actuarial questions/problemsProviding explanations and interpretations within area of expertiseLeading and participating in data analysisLeading and participating in actuarial modelingDesigning and running complex data programsDirecting work from junior actuarial colleagues on projectsPerforming quantitative analysis of actuarial, financial, utilization and cost dataForecasting and trend analysis
