Make yourself at home with us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities:This individual contributor manages the relationship with major internal customers for network service offerings Provide high level of Customer Satisfaction for Support Tickets and Requests Build and maintain supportive working relationships with Customers Perform customer advocacy in carrier circuit troubleshooting. Work with multiple support teams to analyze and resolve performance degradation Maintain existing network infrastructure as well as assist Network Engineering with network configuration changes and upgrades Establish guidelines for network monitoring Provide input into process and procedure for increasing reliability, reducing procedural errors and managing change within the network Participate in the development of technical requirements for both customer facing network services and internal networks during break/fix activity with Operations personnel Ensure Maintenance Notification and Service Advisory communication is distributed to Customers in accordance with SOP Must be flexible to on-call shifts, responding to issues affecting primary customer Manage multiple concurrent interdisciplinary projects and ability to work on a team Develop standard operating procedures
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer or information sciences or equivalent experience Demonstrated experience in ITIL® IT Operations Management or ITIL® Service Management Demonstrated experience in data network technologies and architectures including F5, Cisco technologies, firewalls or IPAM Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications Willingness and ability to respond to off hours issues/escalationsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Data Center applications Experience with Security System applications Experience with NOC applications Experience with Call System monitoring Applications ITIL or other discipline service delivery, service design or service management Technology Careers with Optum.
