Locations include: Ladera Ranch, Mission Viejo & other Orange County offices In this role, you will provide Primary and Urgent Care services to patients. The successful NP or PA candidate will be part of a team dedicated to improving the delivery and quality of health care that is patient-centered, safe and effective. He/she will share the group's vision of improving the collaboration, coordination and communication with and between physicians and health care professionals caring for patients. In addition, he or she will also recognize the value of coordinating their patients' care with specialists and hospitalists as needed. The NP or PA must be willing to actively participate in improving clinical outcomes through evidence-based strategies and innovative care.
Required Qualifications:Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in California 1 or more years of NP or PA experience in Primary Care and Urgent Care Experience managing patients through the continuum of care Ability to splint and stabilize soft tissue injuries and fractures Ability to perform a variety of outpatient procedures Experience with reading X-rays in an urgent care setting Ability to work both weekday and weekend shifts Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office BLS certifiedPreferred Qualifications:Experience with NextGen EMR Please note that Per Diem Employees are eligible for 401K with company match (after 1 year of employment) and Sick Leave based on hours worked!
