In this position you will be responsible for coordinating all service and activities and make key decisions related to claim banking and claim financial reporting. Primary Responsibilities:Lead new customer implementation activities related to banking and claim financial reporting. Sole contact for banking setup.Responsible for recommending and explaining the benefits of additional services available to customers (i.e. custodial vs. home), acting as a subject matter expert.Lead banking and claim financial reporting activities related for existing customers, responding to inquires from customers and their representatives, as well as internal staff such as Account Management and Claim.Work with Sales and Business Development to provide banking information for customer finalist presentations.Utilize multiple system tables for coding and testing bank account set-ups.Responsible for the resolution of issues working in conjunction with IT. Review positive pay suspect items for corporate, custodial and select customer bank accounts.Accountable for accuracy and appropriateness of banking optional services and related fees.Represent Treasury Operations on company committees focused on workflow improvement and new account transitions.Recommend and implement process and procedures changes.Maintain database for tracking banking setup. Stay current on new banking legislationMaintain reference materials related to customer banking and claim financial reporting.Maintain financial security by following internal controls.Provide support for other staff members within Finance.Maintain online security access for disbursement reporting application.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED3+ years of professional customer service experience2+ years professional experience in an Office setting using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform the job dutiesExperience working in a collaborative environment to identify and resolve financial and operational issuesMust be able to:Outlook – manage calendars and emails within multiple mailboxesWord – create and modify documents and mail mergeExcel – data entry, sort and filter, create and use pivot tables and v look ups, create and use basic formulas, import data from AccessAccess – export data, create and modify basic queries, search for dataPreferred Qualifications:2+ years experience in Accounting or FinanceAssociate's Degree (or higher)Banking experienceReconciliation experienceExperience working with C-Suite executivesCareers at UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual.
