(sm) The Senior Provider Relations Representative is responsible for supporting a full range of provider relations and service interactions within UnitedHealth Group, including working on end-to-end provider claim and call quality, ease of use of physician portal and future service enhancements, and training & development of external provider education programs. Senior Provider Relations Representatives assist in the design and implementation of programs to build and nurture positive relationships between the health plan, providers, and practice managers. They may also be involved in identifying and remediating operational short-falls and researching and remediating claims. Primary Responsibilities:Use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problemsInvestigate non - standard requests and problems, with some assistance from othersPrioritize and organize own work to meet deadlinesProvide explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertiseSupport and implement strategies relating to the development and management of a provider networkIdentify gaps in network composition and services to assist the network contracting and development staff in prioritizing contracting needsInvolved in identifying and remediating operational short - falls and researching and remediating claims
Required Qualifications:Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience2+ years of managed care or medical insurance experience1+ years of experience in a claims, customer service or provider support roleModerate level of proficiency with MS Excel and Word Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency working with SharePoint, SalesforceGood organizational and planning skillsStrong interpersonal and oral communication skills, including telephone etiquetteAbility to prioritize and meet deadlines from multi - staff members within the departmentStrong research and analytical skillsCareers at UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual.
