This position is apart time per diem Patient Access Representative role. This position will back upregular Registration Staff for breaks, vacations, out of office, etc. anytime within a 24 hour period atvarious locations within the hospital as needed. This position is perfect forpeople with flexible schedules who do not want to work full time. Candidates inthis role can often transition in to full time permanent positions. Duringtraining, the position will be full time.
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of customer service experience Previous experience with the medical industry Previous cash handling experience (cashier, sales clerk, server, etc.) Basic computer proficiency Must be willing and able to commit to flexible 24 hour work schedule as needed Preferred Qualifications: Patient registration experience in an acute care facility Experience with medical insurance (verification, explaining coverage details)Careerswith OptumInsight.
