Primary Responsibilities: UnitedHealthcare (UHC) is part of the family of companies that make UnitedHealth Group one of the leaders across most major segments of the US health care system. In this position, you will be doing financial planning, budgeting, and analysis within the Medicare & Retirement division of UnitedHealthcare.Ensure the accuracy of operating expenses across the business.Forecast and report FTEs and expenses.Research variances and provide variance explanations.Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested (Internal, Corporate, Client).Prepare journal entries and enter into PeopleSoft General Ledger.Meet with department leaders to review results and make updates to forecast.Collaborate with business partners to make sure their Finance-based reporting needs are being met in order to facilitate smart, timely decision-making across the organization.
