Our client is a leading prestigious American Institution with a reputation for excellence and deep roots in Infrastructure, Energy and Natural Resources worldwide.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a business with heavy hitters on the Power & Renewables and Natural Resources desks but requires a leader with a specific focus on Infrastructure Advisory (M&A and Debt) mandates. You will benefit from the organisation's excellent client relationships in the Infrastructure sector from day one. You will act as focal point for the business within Infrastructure and you will take responsibility for managing two highly proficient and credible VPs, as well as having access to a pool of Analysts and Associates for deal execution.
The key responsibilities within the role will be three-fold:
To take the lead on the bank's existing client relationships, targeting in conjunction with senior management those relationships which could be improved or taken to another level
To target and build new client relationships, strategically taking market share for the bank in the desired areas
To instil, develop and oversee a world class deal execution process on infrastructure advisory mandates, in keeping with those already established as such in energy and natural resources
Our client is happy to look at established MDs or those making their first (but demonstrably deserved) step to MD level. Either way though, you must satisfy the following criteria:
We are seeking candidates with a core infrastructure (transport, PFI/PPP, regulated utilities) deal list, as opposed to those coming from power & renewables, etc
At least 10 years (and more likely 12-15 years) having consecutively worked in the infrastructure finance sector globally
Most recent experience will be in EMEA region and you will be able to demonstrate deep client relationships and an impressive deal track record in the region
Candidates from a broad IB Advisory or mixed Lending/Advisory background will be considered, but candidates from a pure Lending background looking to make a switch to Advisory will not be considered
If you satisfy the criteria and are interested in being considered, please send your CV to email@example.com
