Position Summary: Provide support to the Data Steward Council and Data Governance Council in implementation of Data Governance, Metadata mapping, data lineage, data integrity, and data management. Produce and maintain data flow diagrams, metadata repository, and assist in data integrity program. Collaborate with IT and business in data related projects. Duties: Complete operationalization of metadata repository- AnalytixDS Mapping Manager. Work with IT to develop automation of metadata uploads and create change management process. Manage Mapping Manager and promote usage as key source of data dictionaries, metadata, and data lineage over time. Document data flow diagrams for critical MPF business processes. Identify and establish process to document data lineage of key MPF data elements. Mentor and train Data Stewards on usage of Mapping Manager and data flow diagrams. Help develop support model for Mapping Manager with IT. Participate in Data Steward Council as SME in data analytics and "technical" support for DSC. Assist Data Governance Council in maturing data governance across the MPF program. Identify gaps in the MPF Data Governance program and assist in closing those gaps. Assist in promoting awareness of data governance principles and policies within MPF and across the bank as needed. Requirements: Software: SSIS, SSRS, SQL, SQL Server Management Studio (or equivalent), AnalytixDS Mapping Manager (or equivalent tool), ETL tools, Tableau, Data reporting tools 7+ years experience in data management/ data governance/ data analytics. BS in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviors: Working with teams in a collaborative environment Strong communication skills, oral and written, at all organizational levels. Ability to mentor and train non-technical business users in metadata mapping, data flow diagramming and other data governance related activities. Experience in tracing data errors, discrepancies, and performing data reconciliation. Working knowledge of relational database design and database programming. Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency with PowerPoint, Word and Access. Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, technical, and presentation skills.
