Regency Centers is looking for an experienced Manager, Financial Services to join our Jacksonville, Florida corporate office. The Manager, Financial Services will manage preparation and analysis of actual results versus forecast/budget on a monthly and quarterly basis. This person will also assist with managing forecasts and budgets, as well as provide process improvements related to reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
•Coordinate and manage process for preparation and distribution of Quarterly Business Review reports, which includes operating results and investment updates for the portfolio. •Quarterly Business Review reporting includes preparation, review, and analysis on various operating metrics, such as net operating income and lease activity. •Prepare, review, and analyze additional quarterly reports, including reports for the Supplemental and the earnings call. •Prepare, review, and analyze the monthly operating metrics report, along with the monthly Board report. •Assist with management of Financial Services/Information Technology project improvements, with a main focus on a comprehensive data warehouse. Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance •5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience in accounting or finance •Strong quantitative and analytical skills •Advanced level proficiency with Excel •Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
•Solid foundation in retail real estate fundamentals, including the ability to understand and calculate standard return metrics, the ability to read and understand a lease, and the ability to understand shopping center operational metrics. •Experience with Argus •Experience with Spreadsheet Server and GL Inquiry (or similar reporting software) •Intermediate level proficiency with JD Edwards
