The Financial Assistant will primarily work in the Associated Student Agencies (ASA) office reporting to the Manager, SFS Financial Administration with additional responsibilities assigned by the Director, Student Administrative Services. This individual will provide financial and operational support for ASA as well as other Student Financial Services areas including Student Employment, Student Loan Servicing and Student Accounts Receivable.

Required Skill/ability 1: Great attention to detail. Well-developed computer skills, specifically strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Access) and the ability to learn computer applications. Ability to extract data and run reports from databases.

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills: Knowledge of Yale's financial systems, policies and procedures. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access. Experience with Brio query. Ability to provide metrics and data analysis for student employment and other student receivables.
Required Licenses Or Certifications:
Six years of related work experience, four of them in the same job family at the next lower level, and a high school level education; or four years of related work experience and an Associate degree; or little or no work experience and a Bachelor degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
