This position is responsible for preparing and overseeing perioperative appointments and charts as well as assisting the Perioperative Patient Access Coordinator with his/her daily responsibilites. The Client Services Representative schedules appointments in PHS and coordinates support staff responsibilities on a daily basis. The Client Service Representative will assist all clients, family members, and staff when possible. Specifically, he/she will be trained to act as an interim Perioperative Patient Access Coordinator when needed. Must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently or with others, in a close environment, be capable of making sound decisions; be detailed-oriented, alert and self-motivated. The Client Service Representative completes special assignments as indicated, changes preop appointments as needed, answers phones, prepares participant/patient files, completes and verifies patient/client general information, enters participant data into software programs, and gets all necessary documentation related to the pre-op appointment and chart prep.
