Babson College is seeking a part-time faculty member for Fall 2017 to teach two sections of “Energy and the Environment,” an environmental science course revolving around environmental impacts of energy consumption. The course includes discussion of electricity generation and distribution, transportation impacts, and renewables in these sectors. The courses are scheduled to meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:45-11:20am and 11:30am-1:05pm. A master's degree or doctorate in an appropriate discipline is required for this position. This position is well-suited for an advanced graduate student or postdoc seeking teaching experience in preparation for entering the faculty job market.
Applicants considered for teaching assignments may be asked to attend a training and orientation program, and may be asked to either shadow an experienced faculty member, or allow an experienced faculty member to observe a class meeting.
