Description of Position
The School of Education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City is continuously seeking qualified candidates for adjunct faculty teaching positions.
THE INTENT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO IDENTIFY A POOL OF ADJUNCT FACULTY WHO ARE QUALIFIED TO DELIVER UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE LEVEL COURSES IN THE DIVISION OF COUNSELING AND EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY.The Division offers coursework in counselor education, counseling psychology, educational psychology and physical education at both the undergraduate, master's, educational specialist, and doctoral levels.

The Schoolis comprised of three (3) academic divisions:Curriculum and Instructional Leadership; Counseling and Educational Psychology; and Educational Leadership, Policy and Foundations. Adjunct faculty teaching in the School of Education are responsible for teaching regular courses as assigned by the Division Chairperson.
Appointment and Salary
These are term, non-tenure-accruing positions. Appointment periods are for the semester with consideration for reappointment. A flat adjunct salary is determined based on level ofeducational degree.

1.Degree appropriate significant experience/training relevant to the level of class and content area being taught
2.Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to urban issues.
3.Familiarity with various online delivery platforms.
