Responsible for performing administrative tasks and special projects required for the operation of Athletic Academic Services at the direction of the Associate Director of Athletic Academic Services.
25% - Essential - Program Administration: Coordinate the class checking efforts of the department, including production of daily attendance reports, as well as the weekly Provost Report.
Provide oversight to the Tiger Trust degree completion program, including but not limited to; being the initial point of contact for applicants, tracking progress and ensuring timely graduation. In addition, generate academic and financial reports at the conclusion of each term for the Tiger Trust.
25% - Essential - Outreach and Administrative Management: Ensures that Human Resources functions, such as, payroll, employee data entry, monitoring of hourly employees within this division is properly executed. Coordinates HR functioning with the HR partner assigned to, and within Athletics. Coordinate the hiring, scheduling, training, and supervision of intermittent and hourly employees.
20% - Essential - Special Projects. Provide direction to the staff liaison to the university bookstore with the ordering and delivery of course texts and other required course materials for student-athletes receiving athletics scholarship. Assist with the purchasing procedures for student-athletes whose course texts, access codes and other required materials are not provided at the University bookstore. Coordinate the purchasing and distribution of laptop computers for student-athletes. Manage the social media account(s) for the department. Organize and plan the student-athlete graduation reception.
15% - Essential - Leadership: Serve as direct supervisor to the Assistant Coordinator of Internal Operations. In addition, have direct supervision over hourly staff employed to execute daily operations of the Athletic Academic Services department.
15% - Essential - Reporting Management: Collaborate with Compliance and Registration Services to ensure student-athletes and student-support personnel are appropriately coded for accurate reporting and assignments of priority registration time-tickets. Generate daily reports of student attendance and usage of services in the facility for quality assurance. Produce daily attendance reports as well as the weekly Provost Report.
