We are now hiring for a full-time BilingualSocial Worker/Counselor I to join our Team!
The Bilingual Social Worker/Counselor will provide school-based, home-based, and community based treatment services to the students ages 0 to 5 year old and their families in the West Chicago School District 33.
Essential Job Functions:
Provides school-based, home-based, and community based treatment services to West Chicago School District 33 students and their families.
Completes comprehensive, in-depth mental health assessments, service planning, individual and family therapy, group services, full range of case management services, advocacy, class observations, consultations and related services.
Participates in all expected school and community meetings and events.
Establishes effective working relationships with community service providers and School District 33 staff and will serve as a clinical resource to School District staff.
May be assigned other projects according to program needs.
Meets all agency documentation expectations
Works two (2) to three (3) evenings per week, no weekends.
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field required.
LSW or LCP required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
This position requires travel and evening hours to provide home-based services to families.
Must have access to a vehicle, proof of insurance and valid driver’s license to perform essential job functions.
Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
