You will primarily support Credit Suisse's Securitized Products, Global Credit Products Group.
You will provide legal and regulatory advice and assistance to Credit Suisse in respect of certain transactions CS execute on its own account or as arranger/dealer. More generally you will assist CS in conducting its activities in compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations and the firms ethical standards including advising CS on regulatory developments
You will get involved in project work (such as regulatory change implementation and the firm's annual legal risk assessment).
You will provide advice and assistance to CS in respect of certain transactions (discussed below) executed by CS on its own account or as arranger/dealer.
You will assist CS in conducting its activities in compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulation.
You may be required to draft, review and comment on internal policies, guidelines and processes from a legal and regulatory perspective and to work on wider General Council projects.
Open to discussing flexible/agile working.
You will have at least 7 years PQE in a leading law firm or financial institution with strong experience in RMBS, CMBS, other forms of ABS, and asset finance transactions
You will have solid experience in securitization transactions across a wide range of asset classes and syndication arrangements
Whilst not a requirement it would be preferable that you have familiarity with CLOs and credit derivatives. Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements however is critical to the role
You will possess strong legal, analytical and transaction execution skills and have the ability to explain complex legal concepts in an accessible way
Your interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal, will be second to none
You will preferably have in-house experience (permanent or on secondment) with the ability to balance client demands whilst exercising a control function for the firm.
