You will support the Head of Financial Crime Compliance in all aspects relating to the Financial Crime Compliance Programme.
Day to Day Responsibilities
* You will support the Head of Financial Crime Compliance in developing and maintaining financial crime assessment of risk analysis and assurance in support of the business strategy; * You will assist in the implementation and oversight of these controls by liaising with key stakeholders as appropriate; * You will have a focus on the changing regulatory environment and ensure that M&G is compliant and has implemented controls across all work streams; * You will act as a point of contact for escalated financial crime concerns; * You will support in the preparation of management information; * You will promote M&G's values and culture to all of the FCC stakeholders; * You will ensure that financial crime concerns are escalated in a timely manner and relevant reporting requirements are adhered to.
You will have a sound understanding of the global regulatory and legal requirements regarding financial crime and be able to clearly articulate these requirements to a variety of stakeholders
Good analytical judgment to identify and mitigate financial crime risk along with attention to detail in simplifying complex information and present analysis with accuracy is essential in this role.
You will be expected to proactively build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally by being agile and communicating with clarity and confidence.
We are looking for someone to take ownership of work with little supervision or coaching.
Essential Knowledge and Experience
* Good knowledge of all areas of financial crime (AML; CTF; Fraud; Sanctions; PEPs and AB&C); * Experience of US, UK and European anti-money laundering laws and regulations - desirable. * Experience of working with peers across the financial services industry and identifying/ managing the associated financial crime risks; * Developing policies, procedures, training and education; * Developing and maintaining policy in line with evolving statutory and regulatory obligations; * HMT/NCA reporting; * Quality Assurance checks.
Professionally recognised industry qualification(s) in FCC; AML; Fraud; Sanctions; AB&C are desirable. M&G is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
