This includes, but is not limited to, recommendations of appropriate tools and teaching strategies to accomplish course objectives, identification of assessment strategies and the application of sound principles of interactive and universal design. In this role, you will be responsible for a number of projects on both corporate and degree program initiatives as well as production of a variety of original content for web and mobile channels (animations, simulations, infographics and gaming modules). Recommend assessment strategies and course tools to accomplish desired outcomes. Create content that is engaging, visually appealing and accessible to all types of learners. Review assessments and content to ensure proper alignment to learning objectives. Conduct quality assurance reviews on courses. Train and support faculty in the use of e-learning technologies. Develop collaborative relationships and participate in faculty meetings. Design and deliver workshops. Evaluate and implement technologies and approaches for online learning. Participate in new program development and continuous improvement of existing programs. Qualifications & Special Instructions to Applicants: Education and Experience: BS or BA degree required, MS degree in instructional design or related field preferred 2+ years of instructional design experience. Experience designing/developing eLearning, mobile learning, online tutorials and/or other training materials. Thorough understanding of needs assessment and learning design. Knowledge of learning theory and learning styles. Advanced skills in project management to drive self and others to on-time completion. Advanced critical thinking, analysis and synthesis skills. Excellent speaking, writing and editing skills including the ability to explain technical topics to novices and collaborate with SMEs and managers. Knowledge of intellectual property, Fair Use and section 508 compliance. Ability to facilitate collaboration and buy-in from a variety of stakeholders.
