The Assistant Housing Administrator oversees the Section 202/8 Supportive Housing regulations and re-certification process related to Management and Occupancy Reviews (MORs). We are seeking a friendly and helpful Assistant Housing Administrator to interact with current and future residents at Bethany Center, located in the Mission District. Must be bilingual English/Spanish and have experience with HUD 202/8 affordable housing procedures. This is a 40 hour work week, Mon-Fri; standard business hours. Apply now!
Salary: commensurate with experience.
Software: RealPage Software for Property Mgmt, Leasing and Occupancy. Integrated with On-Site Accounting software package. MS Office and Google Office Suite.
Perform general office duties
Assist with general administration and maintenance requirements of building and community programs
Oversee Affordable Housing re-certification process in accordance with federal and state laws applicable to affordable housing and rent calculations pertaining to the re-certification process
Assist in the HUD/TCAC certification of applicants and maintain waiting list of applicants
Vacancy management: assist with resident move-in and move-out process
Management and Occupancy Reviews (MORs)
Maintain resident files, resident confidentiality and resident’s rights
Establish and maintain good relationships with residents, their families and staff
Respond to resident emergency calls, if needed
Attend staff meetings, training seminars and workshops as required
Office operations management
Section 8/202 property management and HUD re-certification experience
Demonstrated ability to use occupancy, financial and maintenance software
