We're currently looking to add a Student Assistant (BOE Reporting) to our Analytics Consulting team. This position will monitor and process access requests for the tools and platforms supported by UW Medicine IT Services Analytics that provide users with access to secured data across the UW Medicine enterprise, and to provide general administrative support.
**OPEN TO CURRENT UW STUDENTS ONLY**
Intake point person to review and triagerequests for access to BusinessObjects, SQL Server Reporting Services, Spotfire, Tableau, Business Insight, as well as the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Epic Data Warehouse.
Reference process documentation to ensure requestors have provided complete and accurate requests. When appropriate contact requestors, manager approvers, or data stewards to gather missing information or delayed approvals.
Utilize reports from the Learning Management System as well as attendance rosters from in-person training to ensure that required user training is complete prior to or soon after access is granted depending on the tool. Log all training completions in SharePoint master list.
Monitor ITS Analytics SharePoint customer portal, email, and Service Desk Manager ticketing system to ensure that all requests are captured and fulfilled in a timely manner.
Maintain the SharePoint master list of all access requests and user information to support IT controls and audits.
When necessary accept incoming requests via email and log Service Desk Manager tickets to appropriate ITS Analytics teams.
Assist customers with general information requests regarding ITS Analytics access processes.
Answer customer questions.
This position may also occasionally assist in general administrative activities including SharePoint content support, in-house user training registration, calendar support, internal reporting.
