The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine seeks applications for a faculty position at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level, specializing in pulmonary and critical care or critical care medicine for our nocturnal Medical Intensive Care Unit coverage program.
Applicants for this faculty position must have all of the following prior to effective date of appointment: Medical Degree or foreign equivalent; Ohio Medical License; Completion of a 3-year Internal Medicine Residency; completion of a 3-year ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education)-approved Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine or Critical Care Medicine; Board Certified or Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine or Critical Care Medicine.
The successful candidate will serve at least 5-10 night shifts each month in our medical intensive care unit (MICU) at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The position can also include daytime assignments in the MICU, the medical stepdown unit, the pulmonary outpatient clinics or the pulmonary consult services. This individual will also participate in the conduct of clinical trials and the teaching of UC medical students, residents and fellows.
