Under the oversight of the Clinical Director, the Health Program Operations Specialist, Transfusion Services will provide leadership, coordination, and education for the implementation of transfusion practices across the medical center in order to improve the quality and safety of patient care. Supports the advancement of healthcare practices. Identifies opportunities to improve, with an objective of achieving consistently high performance and adherence to best practices, by all members of the healthcare team. Priorities will be set and target initiatives will focus around Access to Excellence, Patients are First, and regulatory initiatives to include all aspects of transfusion services.
Washington State RN license. 4-5 years inpatient hospital experience, including ICU experience. BSN degree. Clinical leadership experience such as charge, preceptor, assistant manger, etc.
