A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and analytical individual with good attention to detail to join our Wealth Operations division as a Commissions Analyst.
About the Role
Reporting to the Commissions Team Leader, you will provide tailored support to our Wealth Advice team.
As part of providing support to our team of Wealth Advisers, you will have day to day responsibilities including:
Allocation of revenue & charges.
Liaison with advisers, operations staff, senior management and product managers.
Reconciliation of commission payable to advisers.
Administration of referral agreements & variations.
Administration of commission employment contracts & variations.
Having a thorough understanding of ongoing regulatory changes related to commission payments, structures and associated system impacts brought on by FOFA.
Complete designated pre and end of month activities.
Maintain task procedures.
Assist with the management of FDS and Opt In requirements.
Assist with the support of Front Office operations task on an ad hoc basis.
Assist in the creation of monthly remuneration and revenue reports.
Identifying and providing input and support for process and system improvements on projects.
This opportunity will suit someone with a keen eye for detail and an underlying love for numbers.
To be successful in this position, you will also possess:
Experience in financial services, ideally in an operational role
Experienced in identifying and implementing areas of team and business efficiency
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with strong literacy and numeracy ability
The capacity and ability to take on a high level of responsibility to ensure tasks/objectives are satisfactorily completed
The ability to work individually or as part of a team
A high level of motivation and drive to commit to work related activities and goals
Experience with systems such as BRoKER, Xplan, Siebel and Microsoft applications such as Excel and Word is desirable
Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Business
