Responsibilities: The Westchester Educational Opportunity Center is seeking a Test Coordinator to administer the high school equivalency exam and perform related administrative task. The Test Coordinator is responsible for organizing and managing the testing process in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. The successful candidate will schedule and set up for the exams, process applications and communicate effectively with test candidates and WEOC staff in order to successfully respond to the informational needs of both applicants and testers, taking into consideration the varied educational levels and backgrounds of those requiring information. The general testing schedule is Mondays and Tuesdays from 4:30 pm until 9:30 pm. In addition, 10 administrative hours per week are part of the regular work schedule.
Qualifications: TASC Coordinators and Examiners must have a bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited college or university and experience in teaching, training, counseling or testing or at least an associate degree from a nationally accredited college or university and three (3) years of experience in teaching, training, counseling, or testing; or college-level coursework and experience as a testing proctor. The successful candidate must also be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, highly organized, able to meet deadlines, and have knowledge of high school equivalency testing procedures. S/he must also be able to work with colleagues within the organization and with external agencies and have effective communication skills.

Hourly Rate of Pay: $15.17/hour. No benefits. This position is fully grant funded.
