The Saint Luke’s Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute (SLMBNI) and Saint Luke’s Cancer Institute (SLCI) are seeking a candidate for the position of Director of Neuro-oncology with at least 5 years of experience and demonstrated success in programmatic development. The candidate should be board certified in neurology or medical oncology with fellowship training in neuro-oncology and experience in clinical research.
The Saint Luke’s Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute is a multidisciplinary institute fostering neuroscience research, education, and patient care. The multidisciplinary team includes fellowship trained neurosurgeons, neurologists, interventional neuroradiologists, specialists in neurological rehabilitation and neurootology. Academic appointments are available at University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine commensurate with the level of experience. Candidate will hold appointments in the Division of Neuroscience and Oncology and will be partially supported by the SLMBNI foundation.
Saint Luke’s Cancer Institute is an academically focused, comprehensive, integrated and regionally distributed cancer center in the Kansas City region with over 2400 annual new cancers. SLCI focuses on subspecialty, multidisciplinary oncologic care with an emphasis on clinical research, quality outcomes, and personalized patient experience. SLCI has a joint hematology/oncology fellowship program with the University Missouri -Kansas City School of Medicine.
