1). Uses C#, UniBASIC / UniQuery (Envision) and T-SQL programming languages to develop software applications, reports, data interfaces and utilities to support the college's web and ERP environments.
2). Writes reports and data queries in the support of data warehouses, data analytic and college operations.
3). Develops secure code and embeds secure coding practices in deliverables.
4). Develops standalone applications and customization, add-ons or plug-ins to existing web and ERP applications, including third-party applications.
5). Provides level II support on deployed solutions.
6). Uses source code control for version and build management, when available.
7). Follows coding standards established by the college, including but not limited to, application architecture, naming standards, exception handling, deployment, platform compatibility, code documentation, version control, unit testing and code validation.
8). Works in a team environment to develop software solutions.
9). Works assigned tasks per project plan and regularly reports progress against deadlines and milestones.
10). Evaluates requirements and contributes to project timeline, task assignment and design.
11). Recommends software tools, programming technologies and development practices.
12). Participates in a continuous training program to ensure cross-functional team development to meet departmental, division and college goals.
13). Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.

Working Conditions: Normal office working conditions. Employee frequently sits and walks, and occasionally stands and stoops. Employee occasionally uses hands to handle and feel, reaches with hands and arms. Employee lifts computers and other items weighing up to 25 pounds.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of: ERP software environments, NET Framework languages, UniBASIC/UniQuery (Envision), T-SQL, Java, secure coding practices, version control (eg SubVersion), application support, customer care principles, supporting software environments, project management practices, team development. Skill in: software development, applying new technology to business applications; verbal and written communications; planning, scheduling and organizing work, following a development schedule. Ability to: develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates, vendors, students and other contacts; handle multiple tasks and projects; adapt to continuing technological changes; maintain confidential and sensitive information.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 7 years progressively responsible experience in software development. State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).
