Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Project Coordinator.
In this role, the successful candidate The Sala Institute for Child and Family Centered Care of NYU Langone Medical Center is currently seeking applications for a Senior Project Coordinator position. Working in a highly collaborative and matrixed environment, the Senior Project Coordinator is responsible for providing a broad range of complex operational project and/or research coordination. The individual has the opportunity to gain excellent research and clinical experience with the potential for publication while also maintaining a significant project management portfolio. The selected candidate is expected to work autonomously and with limited oversight.

Project/Program Coordination Coordinates complex operational projects and/or research projects across all Sala Institute Centers. Communicates results and collaborates with family and youth partners, and other professionals, both within and outside the Sala Institute. Prepares figures and diagrams for presentations and publications. Coordinates and communicates program and project activities with concerned parties.
Reports Prepares and issues reports within established procedures. Analyzes findings/data and presents recommendations. Prepares and reviews documents independently and generates status/progress reports for ongoing and pending program related projects. Plans, arranges, outlines, and drafts letters, memos, agendas, presentations, and reports.
Research Activities Gathers and collects data from different parties. Ensures accuracy, analyzes findings, and presents recommendations as applicable. Responds to requests for information, summaries, and data based on information compiled from various sources. Plans and develops materials and presentations for training and educational sessions, departmental seminars, and other activities.
Scheduling & Coordinating Organizes and coordinates schedules, activities, and special events. Coordinates conference preparation activities.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
Develops reports on analysis conducted, provides recommendations and as needed under the direction of ADP Leadership makes formal presentations to communicate results to various management levels. Develops new approaches for finding additional needed information.
Demonstrates initiative in identifying alternative solutions to issues in the project or department, which are reasonably complex and require an understanding of how the outcome will affect multiple areas/ departments.
Helps develop project plans/action steps to ensure timely deliverables and successful completion of project. Assists ADPR Leadership in assessing needs resulting from project implementation.
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a 1. Masters degree in public health, business administration, health care administration, or related field. Minimum of four years of progressively responsible related experience including program/project coordination or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as World, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications. 3. Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skills. 4. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently. 5. Time management skills and ability to work well under pressure. 6. Ability to multi task and project manage.
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: 1. Knowledge of statistical software such as SPSS is preferred. 2. Visio and Microsoft Project
