Description The incumbent is required to operationalize policy implementation to ensure consistency and scalability across Front Office Main Duties
Organize meetings or workshops to interview or discuss with users, subject matter experts to understand business policies/requirements and where necessary, worked with the business subject matter experts to produce business workflow and flow charts
Translating policies into step by step procedures to guide the relevant units across the banks; constant review of effectiveness of policy/process roll-out; identifying inefficiencies and suggest ways to improve processes; develop tactical applications to improve process efficiency;
Guide the thought leadership around implementation options via process engineering and technology solution, working with various business stakeholders and supporting technology teams to implement the change process
Where feasible, supervise monitoring trackers to ensure there are no implementation gaps
Examples include: proposal of a revised sustainable bank wide Travel Request and Approval system, cross border marketing guidelines framework implementation, automation in the CST function (HK) to achieve operational efficiencies, documentation of end to end workflow for IAMs etc
Participate in adhoc projects representing BPC where required
Handle procedures such as ECM Copy Approved Manager, Forced closure account procedures, Policy on customization of reports, Policy on rules of engagement, Voice recording access workflow, RCSA and RRSA, Product Risk Mismatch, Maintenance of FO resource calendar, E-trade blotter maintenance
At least 3 years of experience working as Business Analyst
Private Banking Experience preferred
Experience in writing use cases, use case modelling, workflows, business processes, business requirements document, functional specifications document and user requirements to functional design traceability matrix
Excellent communication skills, able to handle multiple projects and priorities concurrently and manage business expectations accordingly.
Possess an inquisitive mind, exercise objectivity and ability to conceptualize and translate policies into working procedural documents
Possess strong project management skills and technical skills in methodologies/tools especially in the implementation of policy transformation projects & conduct relevant training for business users.
Proficient in VBA / SQL programing an added advantage
Practical application of business excellence, benchmarking, knowledge management and/or service quality arena would be an advantage
