CLINICAL NURSE, PRIMARY AND SPECIALTY MEDICINE, MIT Medical, to provide nursing care to patients in a busy internal medicine and multispecialty practice. Will provide direct patient care within the scope of practice of a registered nurse to individuals and families according to age-specific plans of care. Will use demonstrated knowledge of the principles of triage to access data, interpret age-specific needs, and provide nursing care in collaboration with others; utilize established guidelines to respond to patient needs; assist clinical and support staff in delivering health care to patients; and provide health education, supportive counseling, and clinical outreach to the MIT community in collaboration with other individuals or services at MIT Medical.
REQUIRED: graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) ; current RN license in Massachusetts, BLS certification; at least two years' experience as a registered nurse in a relevant ambulatory office practice, inpatient, urgent care, or emergency room setting; and experience using EMR.
