The position will contribute to the research productivity of the department and provide quality teaching of graduate and undergraduate courses in operations research.
1. Research-The successful candidate must have an established research agenda and a clear potential to secure external funding.
2. Teaching- The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in the fall and spring semester. The courses taught would support graduate and undergraduate programs.
3. Service- The successful applicant will have limited service responsibilities to the department and service to the profession.
Active research program that can grow, leading to a national reputation in scholarly activity.
PhD in Operations Research or related field by August 15, 2018.
Dedication to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in operations research.
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
