We are currently looking for an Administrator for Telecare Casa's in Camarillo.
The four Casas are located on a campus in Camarillo. Casa B, C, and D are licensed social rehabilitation facilities with a maximum time stay of 18 months. Casa E is licensed as an Adult Residential Facility and the stay is unlimited.
All four programs use Telecare's Recovery Centered Clinical System (RCCS) approach. This approach is designed to awaken hope and recovery incorporating a variety of approaches such as motivational interviewing, harm reduction, and other consumer-centered therapeutic interventions.
Each program has 15 single rooms for a total of 60 residents campus wide. We serve adults and Transitional Age Youth (TAY) with serious mental illness who have been faced with multiple acute psychiatric hospital admissions. Services include but not limited to: building independent living skills, outings and other recreational activities, medication assistance, symptoms management, and psych-education groups.
All admissions to our program require prior approval from Ventura county Behavioral health (VCBH).
POSITION SUMMARY The Administrator manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Program. This involves ensuring regulatory compliance, actively overseeing Quality Assurance Performance Improvements. Additionally, the Administrator collaborates with all Corporate departments and outside consultants. Ensures all regulatory requirements are met. Acts as the representative of the program to State/County agencies, community partners, and consumer groups. Provides clinical training, support, and supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS Required: • Masters in Social Services, Behavioral Health, or related field.) • Four (4) years of experience in an administrative management position in a health care setting preferred • Two (2) years of responsibility for supervision of professional staff, budgeting, program planning and licensing • A current professional license as a MFT, LCSW, PsyD, or PhD • Must have an understanding of community mental health services and psychiatric rehabilitation concepts and the Recovery Philosophy • Must be CPR, CPI and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment • All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment.
