Oregon State University-Cascades, in Bend, Oregon, invites applications for a full-time, (1.0 FTE), 9-month, fixed term Instructor rank faculty position in Outdoor Products. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Dean.
The individual in this position will develop, implement and maintain an innovative Outdoor Products degree program offered at OSU-Cascades. The ideal candidate teaches, maintains currency, and performs service. This is a 9-month academic year position but ideally, the successful candidate will be able to begin employment during summer term 2017 on a summer session appointment.

OSU-Cascades, located in Bend, Ore., is a branch campus of Oregon State University. Established in 2001, the university currently enrolls more than 1,100 students in bachelor's and master's degree programs. The campus expanded to a four-year university in 2015, and opened its new campus in 2016. The branch campus has ambitious enrollment goals to reach 3,000 to 5,000 students by 2025. OSU-Cascades is engaged in building a culturally diverse and community-centric educational environment.

-Master’s degree in fields such as Product Design, Technical Design, Industrial Engineering/Design, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Outdoor Recreation, Outdoor Products or related field. -Experience with or demonstrated potential for teaching Outdoor Products courses at the college or university level. -Experience in the Outdoor Products industry (ie. executive/management/design in the industry). -A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity and inclusion.
