In this role you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment while supporting our Association’s team. We will rely on your positive and professional demeanor, strong organizational, detailed-oriented and customer service skills to provide administrative and project support to the Association’s federal, state and local advocacy initiatives and member relations initiatives and other duties deemed to support the functions of the Association.
The incumbent must possess excellent knowledge in MS Word & Excel in order to be successful. In addition, you will assist with registrations for legislative events, programs and committee activities, communications, database administration, legislative bill and position tracking, member outreach coordination, and annual PAC fundraising campaign support.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or relevant college courses or professional training
2-3 years relevant work experience, preferably in a non-profit organization, trade association or in the financial services industry
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work independently
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, the internet, and other relevant software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint (a plus), Desktop Publishing and Association Database.
