The Analyst VI System Administrator will be responsible to meet with the decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define, develop and implement operational business reports within the HIM Department. Support and develop ongoing operational complex reports, system maintenance and implementation documentation. Design report logic related to the deliverables of various business processes and ensuring that key dependencies are met.REQUIRED--Certified Networking Engineer certification--Experience working with clinical information systems in an acute hospital or primary care clinic environment .--Five years of experience supporting and/or managing Windows servers or possess a Microsoft Certified System Engineer certification (MCSE).--Five years of experience in Networking technologies or possess a Cisco --Experience working with and managing an encoding application.--Experience working with Epic Bridges or possess Epic Bridges certification. --Extensive knowledge of healthcare interface and data integration concepts, such as HL7 and/or other industry-standard data exchange protocols. Thorough knowledge and analytical skills for developing application and departmental workflow and data specifications for ADT, orders, results, etc.--Experience working with Epic's Radiant, ASAP, Prelude, Cadence, Resolute, Procedure & Medication Orders, OR significant experience with another EHR application is required.--Experience with application support, troubleshooting and creating operational support guidelines.--Demonstrated experience with project management concepts and methodologies and a history of applying effective leadership to project activities to deliver project on time and within scope.--Superior analysis, technical and application troubleshooting skills.--Demonstrated experience with application testing phases: unit, functional, integrated regression and high-risk scenario testing.--Proficient in MS Office products: Word, Access, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio and Project.--Ability to maintain security of confidential information; exercise judgment, tact and discretion in handling sensitive situations and confidential information.--Writing experience in technical requirement documentation to define process workflows and translate to required technical configuration and design as guidelines to develop applications.--Writing experience in user manual documentation to detail step by step instruction to successfully complete tasks and functions within the application.--Ability to work effectively with staff and higher level management in HIM and external departments.--Experience in trouble-shooting problem and document the analysis of finding the problem and its resolution steps. --Knowledge of HIM practices, including HIM legal, regulatory and reimbursement mandates and methodologies. --Must have experience with HIM encoding applications. Current understanding of data collection and reporting responsibilities of HIM.--Ability to learn new concepts and applications.
