A Faculty member of Sage Hill School is devoted to teaching and learning, supports the School's extracurricular programs, and contributes broadly to the life of the School while promoting the School's mission. At all times, a faculty member will maintain Sage Hill's standards of excellence and professionalism. A faculty member is expected to be on campus and accessible during the time in which students are present for the academic day. The breadth of contribution by a faculty member, in areas identified by the School, is an integral part of employment.
Part-time faculty member to teach two (2) sections of World and/or US History
Participates in the Service Learning Program
Contributes to Spring at Sage
Attends all school-wide meetings and events, department meetings, town meetings, and conference periods
Supports and attends the various school community events
Maintains and updates CANVAS, the School's communication platform

B.A. or B.S. in appropriate field required, M.A. or M.S. preferred
Experience in teaching in the independent school environment preferred
Excellent collegiality, professionalism and organizational ability
Superior written and oral skills
Ability to work well with teenagers and their parents
Ability to maintain confidentiality, use sound judgement, and work independently
Additional Salary Information: Compensation commensurate with experience.
